Change in 2024 Medicare Vision Administration

Effective Jan. 1, 2024, vision administration for all Ascension Complete¹ and Wellcare² Medicare Advantage plans currently administered by Envolve Vision transitioned to Premier Eye Care and Wellcare.

Any claim with a date of service on or after Jan. 1, 2024 for the applicable states should be submitted to the new vision benefit administrator. There are no changes for 2023.

If you do not currently hold a Medicare contract with the new administrators in your market, it is important that you engage with them now to ensure you can continue to see these Medicare Advantage members in 2024.

There is no change in administration for Envolve’s other products in 2024. Where applicable, Envolve will continue to administer vision benefits for Medicaid and/or Ambetter products in your market.
